The Soulo BL is a remarkably light and tremendously strong tent that can be pitched almost anywhere. It’s this freestanding construction that makes it perfect for any trip and is popular with back country hunters and winter campers, bicycle, motorcycle and paddle tourers, long distance trekkers and weekend hikers because of its light weight, integrated vestibule and snow load handling.
The dome construction with multiple pole crossing points provide outstanding snow-load handling capabilities, and the fully freestanding design requires no pegs for pitching. The straightforward short sleeve and clip pole system also makes for quick, easy set up.
This tent has plenty of room for one occupant and gear, the single entrance/ single vestibule configuration affords easy access as well as storage space and the integrated stowage pocket helps to keep you organised. The high bathtub floor keeps out groundwater and full no-see-um mesh on the inner tent door is covered by a zipper adjustable, fabric panel for all-season comfort. Dual guy lines on each pole, with the upper attachment loop designed to wrap around the pole, increases stability in poor conditions and the adjustable roof vent can be closed with a snow-proof panel which is accessible from inside the tent.
Optional Additions – Available Separately
For added protection, an additional tough Footprint can be purchased to help protect the tent’s floor from abrasion and to keep ground moisture from rising in the vestibule.
