The Patagonia Brimmer provides 40+ UPF sun protection and instant shade for full days outside. It works just as well for a hike as it does on the river – and it floats if you take an accidental swim. Main fabric is built of 100% recycled polyester stretch ripstop that’s treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS, and 40+ UPF sun protection and a wide brim help keep the sun off you.

- Foam brim and lightweight construction keep this hat afloat if it ends up in the river
- Adjustable drawcord chin strap keeps the hat in place, even in windy conditions
- Lightweight, low-profile sweatband offers moisture and temperature management

– Main body: 2.7-oz 100% recycled polyester stretch ripstop with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish made without perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs/PFAS), and 40+ UPF sun protection.
– Underbrim: 4-ply, 4.9-oz NetPlus® 100% post-consumer recycled nylon faille made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution; with a DWR finish made without PFCs/ PFAS.
