The Norte Compact 2 is a dynamic 2-person single pole tent that takes inspiration from the Terra Nova Laser Compact AS.
Comfort
Dual side-entry doors and large internal headroom of 100cm make it comfortable for extended use, while strategic vents at both ends maximize airflow to minimize condensation. The tent also features integrated zippered awning compatibility, allowing adventurers to create two separate awning extensions with trekking poles, providing additional shelter and shade.
Setup
Easy Pitch, Easy Pack features for quick setup and compact packing. The single-pole structure ensures a fast, easy setup, while maintaining stability in changing conditions. An option to swap alloy end poles for walking poles offers a further weight-saving alternative for ultralight expeditions.

Materials
Wild Country TriPlex fabric is a compilation of Recycled, Solution Dyed and PFC-free fibres, to create one of the most environmentally friendly tent fabrics available, without sacrificing performance.
Wild Country tents now feature recycled flysheets, groundsheet and inners fabrics, made from post-consumer plastic bottles.
Solution Dyeing is a technique that creates long-lasting, highly pigmented fabrics whilst reducing impact on the environment. Dying the polymers first, rather than the fibres after they’ve been made into fabric, results in less water, chemical waste and energy use. It can also reduce harmful bi-products entering the atmosphere, like CO2.
PFAS and PFC’s pose environmental concerns due to their persistence and potential harm to our ecosystems. After vigorous testing and development to ensure quality remains at the forefront of our products, all Wild Countrytents are now fully PFC-free.
